Have a different yellow flower! I took the secateurs walking, there are a few stiles where the hawthorn is trying to fill the gap.

No decorating was done today, it was all spent in the garden. I mowed the lawns, put some wire along the fence for the clematis and then decided to tackle the front garden, or begin to anyway. I've got plants I bought before lockdown that really need planting, but I can't do that until I've removed some of the turf and dug it. There's no sign of horsetail there thank goodness, and I removed almost half of what I need to. There's an extra, although the right hand side needs finishing off. I'm aiming to more or less complete all the turf removal tomorrow.
