Damselflies, Moths and More

... bluebells (and whitebells!)

Another glorious day and a lovely long walk. Saw my first damselflies of the year - there were two, but only this snap came out in focus, as I zoomed up into the high branches of a tree (I mean with my lens, not personally!)

The moth was easier to photograph as, although it kept flitting around, it stayed on bracken level. Haven't been able to identify either of the insects, so would be delighted to hear if anyone has any suggestions.

EDIT: to add identities to my bugs - thanks to my brother!
The damselfly is a Beautiful Demoiselle (Calopteryx virgo)
and
The moth is a Brown Silver Line (Pteridium aquilinum)

A very short poem follows, darn it! ;-)

Spring can never hold
too many bluebells.

Through April, May and still
they come, more new belles.
