Sun, sea and sand

Today we ventured out into the great wide beautiful wonderful world. Had breakfast (a bowl of cafè latte). Then we rushed out at 9 - shock horror before our showers.

2 mates advised me to take my red baby for a drive, before the battery died, after nearly 8 weeks stuck in the garage. So we drove to Alum Chine (10 mns) and walked 4 km on the beach. Was quiet just a few cyclists and doggy folk.

Then back via Westbourne where the excellent organic bulk shop was selling from the doorway. Hadn’t planned a shop, but couldn’t resist their Bakehouse 24 sourdough - and vegan muffins. Indulged in local asparagus too.

Good to be out again. I expect we’ll do it again, but if the weather holds, there’ll be too many people around.
