My plants all lived! So did every plant I did not cover up, so I'm not sure that my actions were necessary.

Today at the golf course park I saw a woman exercising. This included doing lunges while holding the large bottle of Windex, which is a handy way of getting upper and lower body worked out. 

I saw two geese come in for a landing and then squawk loudly at each other.

Coolest of all, I saw hawks. Usually when I see large birds flying impressively overhead and take pictures they turn out to be vultures. This one and its friend called out so I knew they were birds of prey. This is just prejudice on my part, but I am much happier seeing hawks than vultures.
