Day 48 Rose round up

Another very warm and sunny day, quite a bit of which we spent in the garden as the weather is set to change with quite a dramatic drop in temperature from tomorrow.  Daughter #1 and partner popped round for a socially distanced visit in the garden ( they've both had the virus some weeks ago) and it was good to catch up.
This evening we had (yet another) Thai green chicken curry prepared by yours truly and after wards settled down to watch The Darkest Hour in which Gary Oldman plays a remarkable Winston Churchill.  The film only takes us up to the time of the Dunkirk Evacuation and we were left wishing the story would continue.
At some point in the afternoon I went around the garden photographing the unusually large number of roses that have come into bloom early this year.  My blip is of four of them and as usual, for the life of me I can't remember any of their names, except may bottom left, which might be 'Handel'.  I've never before blipped on so many consecutive days and the subjects, due to circumstances are getting rather average, but I feel that in a small way it is valuable to have a record of this strangest of times.
