No-one told us about social distancing!

We have have watched our Birmingham Vineyard Church on Livestream this morning. 
Since then I have been very entertained by the starlings on our bottom lawn. The hedgehog did not appear last night so I emptied the dish of dried meal-worms on to the bottom grass. 
It's like the starlings have an inbuilt messaging system! 
Once one appears, very soon afterwards the rest arrive. Jostling and bickering. 
No-one told them about the social distancing! 
They were joined by some sparrows. 
The woodpigeon, sitting on the fence looked like Billy No Mates. (A saying of my sister's)    
 He also looked very cold, as all his feathers were fluffed out.
None of the Wood pigeons have managed to fathom the feeder attached to the fence which the blackbird and the starlings both frequent Maybe he was in a grump!
It will soon be time for Sunday dinner so I am posting this a little earlier.
  Not holding my breath about the Big Announcement.
