Curious

Started to file away some paperwork that has accumulated over the last couple of months, and came across a huge number of ancient old payslips and financial documents. The sort of stuff that you 'keep for your records', just in case you may need it one day - but never do! Started sorting through it, and got rid of an awful lot, some to MrM's workshop fire, and the rest to the recycling bin. Very therapeutic!

We kept to the roads for the first part  of our evening walk, through Earle and down past Earle Mill. Lots of lambs in the fields, and this little guy was happy to pose! The verges are full of wild flowers, and in the hedgerows lots of mayflowers. We stopped for a while by O and V's house to watch a thrush feeding two large fledgelings (one in the extra) in their garden. (Unfortunately, we couldn't wave to O and V - with the coming of Brexit they went to live in France. Maybe we'll be able to visit them one day?) For the last last part of the walk we took the footpath that goes behind the caravan site - hadn't appreciated before just how large it is - hundreds of caravans. In the absence of holiday makers, it's been taken over by rabbits!
