Dogwalk, Damsel

Ollie dog hasn't been for a walk away from home for seven and a half weeks and I have only been out to shop for essentials. Today we drove and resumed our regular Wednesday dogwalks with my daughter and Frankie dog - socially distancing of course. The dogs were very excited to see one another and Ollie loved sniffing doggie smells along the pavement for a change. She loved meeting other dogs too at the Top Field. My daughter and I were chatting/shouting nineteen to the dozen with so much to catch up on and the dogs were having such a lovely time that I hardly thought about taking pics.

Plenty of damselflies about this afternoon at home. This male azure with a dog rose backdrop is posing nicely showing off his Coenagrion spur marking, the black line extending part way along the side of the thorax.
