Helping out

Today we have been doing jobs for old people, and delivering essential shopping. Adhering to all the rules. Garden round the front cut right back so that there is now plenty of light getting in to the house. Same at the back. I had antibacterial wipes in case we touched anything, masks and rubber gloves. I took mugs, plastic cups, cutlery, and paper plates. So we did everything possible.

Lovely to spend time together but obviously we were sat out in the garden, spread out, and it was chilly in the shade. We had a nice chat catching up, and then the long drive home. Jon will return in a couple of weeks with his trailer to dispose of the branch mountain piled up in the garden. And hopefully, next time we visit, we will be able to sit together, indoors, and drink from their cups, and I will be able to prepare the dinner, put on the kettle, do the washing up, so mum doesn’t have to do it all. That’s what I hope!

Home now and just relaxing in front of the tv before bed.
