Light On Their Hair

Difficult to choose a photo today, but loved this one of Zion and Allegra observing a peacock butterfly; Zion actually managed to touch its wing, which he was thrilled about.

But also loved the one of them with their Mum, and all of us having our picnic. We went to Wall; as Paul said, wasn't the most picturesque setting he'd ever had a picnic at, it's at one end of the car park - but at least no-one else was there. It was quite windy and cold, see tied-on tablecloth, and we could hear the traffic on the nearby A5.

The kids loved the Roman ruins of Letocetum, and the circular walk we did across the fields of wheat.

Gratefuls:
- our church's livestreams; Deb did the two morning ones with Cath; good the way they still make Sunday special
- getting out for a picnic and a walk together somewhere different
- lush English countryside, all the greens and the birdsong, and the tall church steeples

Oh, and have booked the first ferry available again - on the 16th June. We will see...
