Life's Little Moments

Explorations

It was nearly 4 in the afternoon before I took my camera out which is always kind of dire to say nothing of the pressure!  How happy was I when one of Xena's offspring came out of the garden burrow and started pottering around, exploring his/her new world.  The youngsters are getting quite bold now but there is still much they don't know.  I watched this one take what I believe was a spider web and try to eat it.  Then, a HERE, a quick drink from the hose.  So, not the most artistic or even pretty shots, but good enough for today.

The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside and had a long chat with Mom and Dad this morning.  They are doing as well as can be expected, but I do worry about them.  Living with the realities of a pandemic takes a toll, as most of us know all too well.

Although I had big plans for the day, I ended up taking a nap.  And although it felt good, I wish I had done something more productive.  However, in a short while we are gathering on our side of the Lane to have Distant Cocktails with our neighbors across the street.  Lawn chairs, at least 10 feet distance, each with our own adult beverages - should be fun.  A little nod towards some sort of "normal".

Be safe.  Be kind.
