Our Blooming Lilac Finally

The fierce winds of the past two days are finally calming down.
They certainly caused quite a lot of "wind burn" to much new growth.

The good news though is that the lilac featured in previous shots has finally blossomed. The Blipfoto is of the leeside. The opposite side is not so good.

However, there is not too many broken branches and the sun is shining. If this week turns out as forecast then it is lunch in the garden for every day.

Yesterday’s Birthday Celebrations for Mr Dog were very enjoyable. We had bubbly and a Victoria Sponge with rhubarb jam and butter icing.

Mrs Dog had given Mr Dog a topknot which looked like a miniature palm tree. Pat sneaked a screen grab during our FaceTime conference which she forwarded to The Dogs this morning.

We both agreed that Pat should not feature it on Facebook.

As I write this the Puppetmaster of the English Prime Minister is apparently giving a live performance in the Rose Garden.

I am not watching. Much has been said over the last 24 hours, and really none of it is good.

One law for the Puppet Master while everyone else has to obey the law without question.

We are living in interesting times, and it is becoming very obvious that many of the populace are distinctly annoyed and upset with a Prime Minister who is incapable of actually doing his job.

When the Daily Hail turns against BoJo, then he is not long for this position.

We will see.
