27052020 75th Corona isolation day w/ alleviation

Morning shot from the mirador at the lighthouse. We've walked there once a week on Tuesday or Wednesday and this week was no exception. And it's just by chance.

The Spaniels had diarrhea last night. So the night was quite broken. By 6:15 I was cooking rice for them for breakfast. They've had some meds and another portion of rice in the afternoon. Soon we'll see what the situation is by now. More meds for the night or just a little bit of food to avoid the growling tummies. If Nelson's tummy growls, he thinks he has the runs and asks for out. Usually we just give him a doggie biscuit and and his stomach quiets down and we can continue to sleep (it always happens during the night).

So with all the commotion with the dogs, we were up very early and were going for walk already at 8 am. We had royal two hours for our walk! So up the monte to the viewpoint and back. We did bit different route once again. There's hundreds of kilometers of paths all around the monte so one can make however many possible walks over there.

After that I have finished all my open projects! I even finished the bedspread I quilted. Tomorrow I'll wash it and then it will be in use. It would be better if it was made of prettier fabrics, but I think that in this case the usage of the fabric, made them look better together than they were in real life.

I also talked long with a friend who's father was taken to hospital today. His speedy test for corona was negative, but they are still waiting for the results of the actual test. They are testing the speedy tests like this. But he has pneumonia. He's been sick and poorly for a long time. She's taking care of him in her home, while taking care of her son and working. Single mom. Today her dad's legs didn't move at all anymore. He had taken away his diaper and had been lying on the floor and had peed all over. She had to drag him into the shower (he had fought back) and then cleaned him, clean the floor, but couldn't dress him as his legs were just stationary. He has Parkinson's.

So clearly the hospital is the only place for him. He had fever. But of course it's scary with the current moment. Also my friend and her son are now in isolation as they don't know if the pneumonia is due to Corona virus or not. In the hospital they had asked him all the normal questions. What year is it ?(2001) Who is the president? (Koivisto, who was our president from 1982-1994) What month is it? (He did not know) He did know it's spring. It's heartbreaking. And on top of that now we wait for the Corona virus test results for all of them.

I feel that it is Saturday, but it's Wednesday.
I fell on Friday. If you wanna see how my leg looks today it's here:
