Physically distanced granddaughters

But it was so lovely to have a visit from the four year old and the toddler sister today. The weather was ideal for a garden rendezvous. Monday is daddy's childminding day so our son brought the girls through. The four year old really knows the rules and she managed very well. The toddler sister just toddled round and we made sure not to get too close. Here she is showing off her beautiful hair in the garden.

They're away now and we hope that will be the first of many visits as the lockdown slowly eases. I'm not sure how helpful the weather is going to be as we are forecast rain, northerly winds and a big drop in temperatures this week. If we can't meet outside we're sunk.

I was out early again this morning to walk Flora. Home to do lots of disinfecting and suchlike. Now I'm settling down for an online meeting to talk about a fundraising photography exhibition. Some really good photos to choose from. Could be tricky to make the final selection. And I have about 70 of my own to process - just capturing the pleasure of seeing the girls for the first time since mid March.
