Perfect pink lupin

At the moment there lives a beautiful perfect pink lupin in a pot outside a door at the bottom of Dublin Street. Immediately after I photographed it on my walk this morning, a man passing by did exactly the same.

The great excitement of the day was an unexpected visit from ArcLight! She called in on her way home from a shopping expedition. We sat together in our area (front yard) for a lovely catch-up chat over a cup of tea. There is evidence of ArcLight's visit to us in her journal entry for today.

With the weather hardly inviting, I stayed indoors the rest of the day. I restocked on soup (red with chicken stock) this morning, and waded through email this afternoon.

Exercise today: walking (15,657 steps).
