A view from Jeanneb

Border

This is all I’ve taken today. Last week in the sun the blue geraniums were full of bees, haven’t looked closely today.

This fence was put up by our neighbour in October at the same time that the struggling Rowan tree was chopped down.
We’ve planted another (far right) and a flowering crab apple in the centre. Think it’s looking quite nice at the moment.

The unplanted bit is due to Chris’s battle against Japanese Anemones which he keeps removing as they come through.
I like them but they are inclined to take over.

You might spot the ubiquitous Goldfinches on the feeder to the right they are happy to throw the seed around at both the back and front feeders! The little squirrel has been back again taking advantage of their largesse and the young starlings have found the bird bath.

Getting a bit fed up of this weather already, a week ago we spent the evening in the garden with our neighbours!
Making a nice warming rice pudding to have with our strawberries for tea in stead of ice cream.

Stay safe everyone.
