Band of Brothers.

This title might have been appropriate for yesterday’s D Day commemorations!

These ‘brothers’ were above us on our walk this morning around the reservoir at Hewenden. It was a lovely morning (you wouldn’t think it now!) and it was good to do this walk which I haven’t done for a little while., in fact the last time I walked in this area it was a Saturday walk in the snow!
It is all around the area where I grew up so that is an added attraction for me but it is also very scenic.

The only downside was walking through the fields at the beginning as the grass was above knee high and wet. We curtailed the walk a bit to avoid walking through the long grass again on our return.

Lots of flowers to admire for Flower Friday. Hawthorne (May) blossom and wild foxgloves looked particularly good but it was this group of bullocks, I think, looking down on us which has won out for today’s blip. The three that are looking to the left were looking at Buster the chocolate Labrador who was oblivious to them.

Cold and wet now, hope you all have a lovely weekend.
