A time for everything

Water lily

Sunday
Our morning started with our streamed church service. It was a beautiful day today, so perfect for our bike ride, starting a little south of Corwin, and heading north, for 21 miles return. On our way back, we stopped at the Corwin Peddler. This cafe/ice cream place has been there right beside the bike trail in Corwin, for many years, but it’s changed management several times, and we hadn’t actually stopped there under this latest management until today. We all (Roger, Laura and I) had sandwiches, Laura’s and mine were toasted, Roger’s was served in a croissant, and came with a side of water melon. We ate outside at the back, where they have a fenced in garden, with well–spaced picnic tables, and a couple of porch swings. Then Laura decided she fancied an ice-cream from Graeters ( a local Cincinnati business) on the way home! So we undid most of our good work, but it made for a lovely outing!
My blip was taken at Spring Valley wildlife area, which we also passed on our bike ride.
