Day 79 Rainbows

I didn't see Trisharooni's theme for today's TT,  (flowers) so my rainbow earrings it is.  These were a lovely birthday gift from Mr MC but chosen with the assistance of Daughter #2 and will remind me of my lockdown birthday in years to come.  Pictures of rainbows have become a common sight in the UK during the pandemic, mostly drawn by children, and they are intended to serve as a reminder to stay positive during difficult times.
The debate over the opening of schools to all this term rages on as the government basically has done a u-turn, now admitting that it may not be possible.  I can't imagine how they ever thought it would be,  unless either the number of classrooms and teaching staff  could be doubled, or all the current safety regulations could be shelved.
