Macro maple

Such a rainy morning!  Tim was about to go to the post office mid-morning (and mid-work), and it started absolutely hammering it down with rain.  He waited a bit and managed to find a window of dry weather to go a little later - taking my parcels with him (thanks, Tim!)  I grabbed my 'big camera' and macro lens after he headed out, and got some close-up photos of the Japanese maple leaves just outside the window.

Super busy work day - but also super productive, motivated by the fact that we are on leave tomorrow (woohoo!) - not for any particular reason, other than to get a break from work.  Had a nice catch up with Mags this afternoon (just Mags today, as Char is also on leave for a few days).

Made myself pizza for dinner (on tortillas - very easy and tasty), and settled in for the long weekend :)
