Keeping warm

An afterthought of a Blip at the end of the day!

Cold and very wet first thing, we gave in to temptation to linger under the duvet for half the morning. Then the delights of domestic stuff, 14km on the exercise bike, and some mandolin practice (very slow progress), among other things. Nice long chat on the phone with Tom this afternoon though.

We had reserved tickets to see Martin Carthy this evening. Not quite the convivial evening it would have been in Etal listening to the man himself, but we did listen to some of his songs. And, later, sat by the wood burner and enjoyed a glass or two of red...
