Growing vegetables

During lockdown it seems that lots of people have decided to try and grow vegetables. Including us.

Except with the existing bushes and plants, in what is a relatively small space, we’ve no room left to plant anything.

So back in April I ordered a bean planter, delivery within 14 days they said. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing it finally arrived today. In a van emblazoned with “nationwide next day delivery” along its side.

We do have runner bean seeds ready to plant, so that’s a job this weekend.

Tremendous thunderstorm and torrential rain yesterday evening. And it’s raining heavily whilst I take this shot. All good for the plants.
