Flower Friday

I haven’t a lot of flowers out as it’s winter but this geranium seems happy to continue to bloom. We have had a milder winter so far but as I left this morning there was some ice on the gate. The fog hadn’t lifted so I had a chilly walk up to town to meet my two lovely friends ( old work colleagues). It was Clarissa’s 33rd birthday. She is half my age. Kate came along and we enjoyed breakfast before they went off to work. They are both engaged to be married and I enjoyed hearing their plans for weddings, babies etc. it’s nice to be friends with younger people.
