Large skipper butterfly

Today we called to visit friends (socially distanced). It was lovely to see them and have a chat.

We then went to Sweeny Fen (where I blipped this large skipper) then on to Llynclys Common.  We were mooching around in the undergrowth (as you do) when I heard a voice behind me.  It was a good friend and fellow photographer that I hadn't seen for ages. It was lovely to see her and catch up.  

She told me that she'd had a letter telling her that what she would be allowed to do when her shielding ended but she hadn't had a letter telling her to shield in the first place.  She'd been supermarket shopping and to the hospital, neither of which she should have been doing. I expect there have been a lot of mix ups like that!
