The Narrow Boat Canal

We walked a different canal today and it was like summer at the outset but when we'd got to the point when we'd decided to turn round and walk back the sky became black.  It was a good thing we'd taken waterproof jackets (just in case)  -   we certainly needed them but because the rain was warm it actually made for very pleasant walking.

I'm really keen to go somewhere different, getting up in the morning and just deciding where to go was a luxury I never appreciated.  Now the things which are open are only available if you have a booking so spontaneity is impossible, also I'm still wary of getting too close to anyone.
