Long Hoverfly

I had an Addenbrookes Focus Group Meeting on Zoom this morning and then I did some gardening. The afternoon will be spent catching up on other jobs.
 
Today’s picture is a Long Hoverfly, which like the Large Skipper from yesterday is sitting on some Wild Yarrow wildflowers.  

The temperature was twenty degrees Celsius at GMT noon. Once again we had blue skies, white clouds and lots of sunshine.
