Two of our favourite things :-))

So great to get together with our besties after 4 months apart.  The Zoom pub quiz on a Saturday night has been great fun but it's a poor substitute for getting together in the same room and sharing some quality time together.

They arrived just after 3pm and walked into the kitchen just as I was taking scones out of the oven.  Perfect timing.  Lola went nuts of course, jumping and running round and rubbing herself against their legs like she's a cat!  She must have thought all our family and friends had fallen out with us the past four months!  lol   It took her ages to calm down as she just wanted them to cuddle and pet her constantly.  Eventually the excitement exhausted her and she collapsed on the floor at Agnes' feet and fell into a deep sleep!

We had a brilliant catch up.  They both work for the NHS so have worked right through the lockdown.  Interesting hearing things from their perspective.  

They stayed for dinner, normally they would stay over but we're not ready to move back to doing that just yet.  There's enough work deep cleaning after people have been without including bedrooms lol!  

They left just before midnight, leaving Lola looking rather forlorn :-))
