An ordinary life....

Not Kinkell Bridge...

We got a phone call from friends J and A last week to say they had booked a short break near Blairgowrie and wondered if they could pop in to see us on their way home this morning.  Well of course the answer was yes.

They arrived just after 10.30am and once again, Lola went nuts!  She just loves people so much and it's becoming clear just how much she has missed people coming to the house!

It was so lovely to see them.  J changed job in January to take over managing a group of care homes.  What a time to move into that position!  Thankfully, none of the care homes he manages have been affected by covid-19.  A minor miracle I think.

They left early afternoon and after lunch, D and I headed out for a run in the car with me planning to take photos of Kinkell Bridge.  Just before we reached the bridge however, we passed this field full of purple flowers.  I've never seen this before.  If anyone knows what it is, I'd be delighted to know.

The hills were also looking very lovely (see extra) and I did get one photo of the bridge but after thinking there was something wrong my my camera (it was very slow to focus and not focussing properly) I realised the battery was almost flat!

Back home and David and Lola headed for the moor and I nodded off whilst editing my photos.  I really am finding socialising exhausting!  lol

Was just uploading my blip when Nikki sent me a photo of Esme taken on St Andrews beach yesterday.  Honestly, I cannot believe that wee dame is only 22 month old.  Confidence and attitude should be her middle names!  :-))  They are coming up to Perthshire to go strawberry picking on the 26th and will come and see us at the same time.  I cannot wait!  :D

Friends and food :-)
