After strong winds the sheep tree had lost all of its crop which was just left lying on the ground…

There was much drama in our garden this afternoon - a sparrowhawk collected a juvenile blackbird which was feeding with one of the parents. There followed a long period of shouting from the adult blackbird…

We had a juvenile blackbird smash into our patio door a couple of days ago (hard enough to trip the trembler alarm) and it died instantly..hope it wasn't the same family :-(
