Comfy boy!

I love to watch him sleeping peacefully; he loves his duvets and blankets! We have them scattered around the house so he can always find a comfy place to sleep. He's not really spoiled! This afternoon I made another couple of duvets covers making sure he has enough to always have a clean one at the ready!
I made some Redcurrant crumb bars this morning, extra photo,    to use some of the abundance of currants we have. I will now be researching recipes for gooseberries as we are about to have a glut of them! I have already stored some in the freezer.
Barry fitted a glass panel in the top of the stable door in the kitchen, to let in more light and it's done the job perfectly.
Mum called to say that she has had all the paperwork for social services for her care to start next week and the confirmation letter for her scan on Tuesday. She had spent a couple of hours this afternoon having a cuppa and chat with another inmate! Actually a neighbour in the sheltered housing where she lives. It all made for a cheerful phone call and a happy mum!
