Desperately seeking

Oh, What A Day!

Up early, in time to be ready for a 9am shopping delivery. Out into town for a 10am Click & Collect. Out to the studio to pick up a couple of big folding tables.

Back home and out to do my run. Home in time for #2 Daughter and her partner to arrive in time for lunch.

And so now to work! katkatkat had come down to help us clear a shed. She knew it would represent a section of family history and maybe some treasure. She didn't want to miss out on that! I assured her there was nothing of value in there but she had her own ideas of what was worth having.

Mid afternoon The B-I-L arrived. It would be nice for him to have a barbeque with us and also to get a chance to see some of the things which had belonged to his grandfather and his mother which came with her when she lived with us.

Kanyl got to look at shell jewellery his mother had made while I got given boxes of paperwork which got brought home when I closed my gem shop to sort through. Oh, dear!

So here they are on the patio at our evening barbeque. After the meal was over we burnt wood and drank into the evening. Lovely to be able to have a family gathering at last.
