Tiny Tuesday

Last night I started the neck band on the baby jumper I have been knitting for Nina’s friend but I just couldn’t get it right. Out of frustration I put it away and had another go tonight. More success but I am not thrilled with the final outcome. Some things turn out better than others. I won’t make this pattern again. 

It was Nina’s birthday today (42). She called around and collected her gifts including some things for her kitchen, a cake and loaf of Sourdough which she requested. I don’t feel old enough to have a daughter that age. It is also two of my cousins birthdays, a cousin’s husband and two cousin’s children. A busy day in the extended family. It was our Mum’s birthday yesterday, she would have been 97.
