Sun

And the sun did shine!

I woke up just after 5, out on the radio and caught the report about the results of THE trial out in KL.  Surprisingly Najib was convicted on all counts.  This is the first of a number of trials and there is no guarantee that he will actually spend any time in prison and an appeal could take at least two years. Channel 4 did a really good piece on the evening news including an interview with Clare Rewcastle Brown who investigated and exposed the scandal of Barisan Nasional frauds and embezzling significant funds.

Elsewhere I had a busy day at work and at least the sun was shining, even if it was windy and pretty chilly.  A number of Zoom calls and some issues moved forward.  After work a quick trip to the shop and then an evening of French drama and a very long call from L.  It was well dark by the time I got to bed.

The panic and nonsense about lack of summer holidays, changes to holidays continues.  What is more important, lying on a beach or health?  I am still thinking about a week in France in 4 or 5 weeks but in no rush to make a decision.
