WWT London: Sipping Ripples
Stonier and steelier in large
New ruddy-headed geese
White-fronted goose shaking
Quirky nēnē shape
Looking for pals
Im and I went to WWT in the morning.
I was thrilled to discover that all four emperors were there (and cheerful and healthy-looking), so last week's emperor in distress seems to have got over whatever was troubling it.
Today's other highlight was some new faces: there were two ruddy-headed geese (South American sheldgeese), and they were stunning (see first extra). I've never seen them before so that was a treat.
