Pushing the boat out

We decided to hit the local restaurant again, for a proper meal this time as opposed to tapas. The menu is 32 euros, which is good value for the quality of the food, but we really did push the boat out when the waiter tempted us with a 16-euro supplement for freshly delivered lobster. I wasn't prepared to just share a tiny bit of S's, so we both ordered it. It wasn't anywhere near a whole or even half lobster each! It was delicious though, served on a bed of potato with an intense shellfish sauce poured around it. My dessert was this raspberry tart with white chocolate and lime. It was good to see the restaurant busy again.

We had a tedious couple of days waiting in for parcels, none of which were delivered when they were supposed to be. They finally all arrived today. So now I have a shiny new iPad to replace the cheapo Android tablet that I finally got fed up of. And S has a new Z-Pack, the lightest rucksack in the world, having had to phone FedEx repeatedly as they claimed twice they'd delivered it when they hadn't. Unfortunately for them, one of these "delivery attempts" allegedly occurred while I was sitting on the bench outside the front door, during which time not a single vehicle passed.

In other household upgrades, the super-efficient electrician from Fabrezan visited and in less than an hour and a half removed two redundant satellite dishes from the roof (yes, we had three, all unused) and fitted a new head and a decoder, so now we can get all French channels plus the main Spanish ones, and no doubt many more.
