AOG: Dunnock Diving

Day 8 of the Alternative Olympic Games saw a perfect score by Danny in the Dunnock diving competition. Just look at the perfection of the dive angle as shown by the light casting a perfectly vertical shadow. The AOGs are a wonderful spectacle for the fans, although I'm not sure the youngster snapped in the Extras was too happy about watching for hours!

Day 146 / Full Day 138 of Lockdown / Day 36 of Step 3 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 55 to 46,566 with new daily cases up by 758. New cases in India today exceed 65k, deaths in Chile and South Africa pass 10k and deaths in Brazil pass 100k, only the 2nd country to do so. 740k Randox test kits have been recalled. Govt analysts including the ONS have said that an astonishing 41% (16k) of the 38,500 excess deaths have been caused by missed medical care (i.e. lockdown) rather than the virus. 1.5bn of emergency funding provided to councils for firms has not been distributed and will return to the Govt at the end of the month if it remains so. A lot of beaches have again been too overcrowded for effective social distancing in the nice weather.
