The forecast wasn't good enough for our club's monthly Sunday climbing to take place, and nobody had said they wanted to risk it so two of us decided to do a walk instead. Fi brought her husband and two dogs along, but no one else fancied it.

We did 8 miles from Longnor, had drizzle for the first hour and then the weather brightened as forecast. 

You can see Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill in the photo, although our route only skirted around them, but Fi and her husband are going to return soon to walk the dragon's back.

This evening it is pouring down here... I must get the gutters cleared out!
