The Misty Isle

We were on the 9am ferry to Mull this morning, a dull and drizzly start to the day. As we drove down to the Ross of Mull it stayed very gloomy, but improved a bit as we approached Bunessan. After a buffet birthday lunch at Daughter One's flat  - this is the view from her window of The Burg across the Ardmeanach peninsula - we drove along to the beach at Ardalanish which was fairly quiet - see extra! It wasn't too sunny, but it stayed dry!

Quote Limerick of the Day:

An obsessive contessa from Venice,
Used to swim the canals playing tennis.
Though the gay gondoliers
Would salute her with cheers,
She was mostly considered a menace.
