Underwater collection

Back to sunshine today but cooler than it was a few days ago, thank goodness. An early morning walk, clean up in the garden, coffee and a zucchini muffin with neighbour Bill when he came to pick up some veggies, more clean up in the garden, laundry, time to blip.
I enjoyed going along the beach for part of my walk and liked this underwater collection, especially the disgruntled looking rock face.
G is playing in an annual fund raising golf tournament for the local hospital.  He went to pick a few figs to bring to one of his friends and discovered that the majority have been eaten by who-knows-what!  There weren't many figs this year because both trees were pruned back, but he reckoned there were about 60-70 ripe ones, and he only managed to save 9. He did take some of those for his friend. We've had really good luck with figs in the past, but this year I think the total picked was 16!  Something is enjoying snacking on the 2nd seedings of lettuce and arugula that I planted too. Still enough of those to keep us going for awhile yet though.
