Another hole to fill!

Our domestic DIY seems to have been going on for quite a while!

We've more-or-less moved on from renovating and repainting the ground floor windows, and I've moved on to the porch. The brickwork had been gloss-painted well before we moved in 35 years ago and has had new paint slopped on it from time to time since then, but the paint was flaking badly so it's all been stripped ready for a fresh coat. However as I go round attending to the pre-paint sanding of the woodwork I keep finding bits of rot at the floor level, no doubt due to the pooling of water from time to time over the years. Fortunately none of it has been structural but I discovered this area of rot yesterday which is destined for filling today.

I'll tag it for Marlieske's Derelict Sunday challenge, although I'm hoping that in fact it's not too derelict as we live here! (It's my 2nd DS entry this week!)
