TYNE BRIDGE

Today was blipmeet day.  Met up with Chris ( 60plus ) and Roy, Janet (J4net  ) and Tony and  Pat (  Shygirl73 ) at The Baltic Art Centre on the Gateshead side of the River Tyne.  You can't just wander into The Baltic at the moment  but have to book a slot in advance.  Our slot was 2pm.  Once inside we  looked round the exhibition ( there's only one gallery open at the moment ) and then headed for the cafe. We had a fun time chatting and drinking coffee.  It was great to see them all again.  Sitting there in the Baltic it felt great to be doing something normal for a change.

My blip for Wide Wednesday is the Tyne Bridge. I was standing on the Swing Bridge when I took the shot.  Thanks to Steveng for hosting.

I have added an Extra collage which shows Janet and Tony, Pat, the Millennium pedestrian bridge and another view of the Tyne Bridge.

After leaving the Baltic Pat and I made our way to the centre of town.  Uphill all the way. We were out of breath when we got to the top. Pat went for her bus.  I went to Waitrose.  It was a good time to go as there were a lot of reduced items which found their way into my basket.

Weather today was warm-ish and dry with no wind. It was very pleasant out.
