Swans at Boultham

Just a typical Saturday really - a bit of a lie-in, lazyish morning watching Aussie Rugby and a trip to Tesco.

After lunch we headed over to Boultham Park to find a Blip. It was so cold and windy, with flecks of rain in the air. There were flocks of house martins and swallows swirling over the lake, feasting on insects in preparation for their imminent journey to warmer climes.

We had a wander around and took a few shots. My favourite of mine was this swan family.

Home now and tea prepared ready to just bung in the oven later. We have some European rugby to watch now, and Wigan Warriors will be playing Castleford Tigers!!
