Golf course view

Once again the Golf Club served a socially distanced buffet Sunday lunch and we invited Jem and Mik to join us this time. We waited for them in the bar which has beautiful views over the course. The club house is organised in a very efficient way so there was no problem staying safe. We all chose roast beef, and were amazed to hear that it had been cooking for 30 hours! The whole meal was up to the usual golf club standard.
Afterwards J and M came back home for a cup of tea. They stayed a long time, partly because Jem sorted out a printer problem I had. It was good to spend time with them.
While I was watering this evening, six different large skeins of geese flew over, honking loudly. Two lots were so low they almost skimmed our roof tops. I wish I knew where they came from, and where they were going.
