Disorienting

The weather quality here in Seattle today was "hazardous," worse than in some areas in California, as a huge plume of smoke was blown in from the ocean, having arrived there from the California and Oregon wildfires.  Staying inside with the windows locked up tight was the only recommended way to spend the day.  The situation is expected to be unchanged until Monday.  The quiet, the heat and the stillness of the air was very disorienting.    It gave me a bit of a taste of what those near the fires have been going through.

Having no opportunity to visit any flowers, I'm blipping this photo of a scarf I've had for many years, with beautiful stripes of flowers.
