A full on day workshop with Paul Hill and Maria Falconer via Zoom. If you don't know them I think the best way to describe them is as 'Real' photographers. Two sessions with suitable introductions to the work of 'those who have gone before,' plus inspirational ideas to get us working.
Walking Marj was there as well. I was delighted to see her. She shot portraits of her Mum who is going strong at 99.
We started off with portraits. By necessity, this involved Len who was the only other human around. In the afternoon, we tackled self portraits in the understanding that a portrait does not mean you have to show the face, but perhaps instead an assemblage of objects that characterise the individual. See extra.
