The accidental finding

Why some people hate jigsaws

I was given this one. Put it up on eBay as complete, because the box said it was. Decided to check it anyway.

Well, the puzzle was made of old-fashioned thin cardboard pieces that didn't click together. The end result is nice enough (where is Canogli harbour, apart from in Italy?) but the process of creating it was extraordinarily frustrating. The puzzle failed to sell on eBay, even with a starting price of £1.20. I finished rg last section of sky today.

Work was good, but the afternoon was hot. I posted a parcel after work, then bought an ice cream and sat on a bench surveying the high street while eating it. Walked home and watched a quiz show in a cool room.

The new 'rule of six' came into force today. Although I can see the sense of it, it already has the potential to cause us problems. I've called a meeting of the WEA committee in our garden on Thursday. There will be six of us. Steve will be upstairs. Suddenly, Steve's friend from Bristol, who hadn't visited us for about a year, wants to visit on the sameThursday AND bring a friend! Meanwhile, the government is encouraging people to report their neighbours if they are believed to be hosting gatherings of more than six people.

Impossible to say where this will end.
