Still Waters

A predominance of clouds, so I thought I'd practice my long exposure technique, which I rarely do. I quite enjoyed the challenge. I also used a polariser and only discovered later how it improved the foreground water lily and weeds. But my main interest was the cloud patterns and reflections. I used a 10-stop filter and a calculator app. Perhaps I should have tried a six stop as well for a bit of texture in the water.

I did see a bit of magenta in the bright areas and tried to correct for it in LR. Processed with the Classic Chrome profile which tends to desaturate colours.
