Lovely courgettes

This courgette is growing in my greenhouse. It is the first one I planted and was an experiment. I wanted to see if I grew some plants early, and put them into the ground in my greenhouse, whether I would get early fruit. But I have discovered that the answer is no! The same goes for the tomatoes I planted alongside them. So it was an interesting experiment but I will stick to normal timings for planting next year. This is the first tiny courgette growing on this plant, and I think I planted it in May. The ones grown outside, and germinated at the time it says on the packet have been far more productive!

I picked a load more red tomatoes today too. I have some that are shrivelling before they go red, but still lots that are green, but I think they have finished their growing, and just need to ripen.

Work has been very busy again with phone calls. I didn't finish what I would have liked to, but I had to finish at 5.30 as it had been a long day.

After work went for a long fast walk with Mollie, then had dinner, and another walk with Jon to pick blackberries.

Time for the repair shop now.
