An ordinary life....

Little Whirlwind...

Poor David has been so busy today.

He picked up Alan's car from the garage (was getting serviced) just after 8am.  Quick walk with Lola before taking her to the vet to be checked over in advance of her next prescription for tick pills.  The vet is in Glasgow (raw feeding and holistic vet so we are willing to travel) so he was gone two and a half ours.  Returned just in time to pop to the barber for a haircut.

Back home for a late lunch before a zoom meeting with Kim (who line manages Alan's support team) about the Covid compliance rules for our holiday.  A longer walk for Lola before getting back to pick me up and head to Andrew and Nikki's to wish Esme a belated Happy Second Birthday for yesterday.

We stopped at the chippy on the way there and took dinner in with us.  Esme was absolutely hyper!  So keen to show us all her birthday pressies. There's not a corner of the living room spare, it's full of her pressies, which of course we added to.  My blip is her showing me the bundle of gifts that just happened to be beside where I was sitting.

She is such a joy to be around, although Nikki did say the terrible twos have started right on cue, but it's hard to believe she can be a horror when all we see is this charming wee face.  And as you can see from the extra shot, she just doesn't get social distancing!

We left just before 9pm and the bed word was mentioned just as we closed the front door.  The last thing we heard was Esme's plaintive cry of nooooooo!  Maybe I can imagine her being a terrible two after all :-))
