A room with a view

The window of the spare bedroom which is where the five year old used to sleep in the days before covid and school. It will be a long time till the two wee ones can come and sleep here but the room is ready and waiting for them.  It's not the photography that's squint, it's the house.

It is the prettiest early autumn day. Perfectly still, golden sun, clear air. How I feel for people enduring the fires on the west coast of North America. I am so lucky to be able to step out and enjoy this view in air I'm not scared to breathe. Mind you yesterday's blip shows the self same river a few miles downstream. Plenty of air pollution going on there.

Sorry I'm not getting to comment much at the moment. It seems ludicrous to say that I'm busy but that's how I feel. Not busy busy like I used to be but enough to be feeling a twinge of pressure. That and strange sleeping is keeping me away from the screen as much as possible.
